 In the early 19th century , British watchmakers Vardon and Stedman created the first oval pocket watch with a telescopic hand . More than two hundred years later, independent watchmaker Michel Parmigiani Fleurier has brought this structure back to life. Gear Magus innovates with the MS03 Black and its telescopic hand system.
 The MS03 Black uses two sets of gears and patented technology for gear transmission. The minute hand expands and contracts four times per hour.
 The case is brushed, polished and chamfered, with a domed sapphire mirror and hollow lugs adding detail to the dial. Hour display at noon, retractable minute hand and central second hand . Nearly 100 parts are required to design this horological masterpiece .
