 We are thrilled to unveil the Full Moon M1, OVD’s latest NASA-themed creation. This watch is the result of a dream for this brand founded in 2016 and passionate about space exploration.
 Its main asset is an innovative 3D moon that rotates in the center of the dial, marking the passage of the seconds and offering a hypnotizing spectacle. Its Swiss Superluminova coating and special printing technology give birth to a truly revolutionary design.
 The design of this moon took a lot of time and effort. Its cratered surface was achieved using embossing techniques. Many challenges were overcome, such as weight, timing, material selection, color grading, and shock resistance. Its complex assembly is a true feat of engineering.
 The back of the watch evokes lunar reliefs with its hammered appearance. Its curved edges posed a major challenge during the stamping process. After numerous tests and adjustments, the challenge was met: the concave case back fits perfectly on the wrist.
 The M1’s case, inspired by space stations , is made of 316L stainless steel with a finely sandblasted matte finish. Its shape has been specially designed to accommodate an extremely domed sapphire crystal, giving it a futuristic look.
 The Full Moon's crown is inspired by the Orion spacecraft , designed to carry a crew of four astronauts beyond low Earth orbit for a three-week mission. Its surface is etched with the vehicle's windows and docking hatches.
 The watch's unique buckle is reminiscent of the Gateway lunar space station.
 The M1 is available with two types of premium leather – one in vegetable tanned leather and the other in horsehide. Both straps are supple and feature a distinctive leather texture. The watch comes with quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes.
