 Cassini was the fourth space probe to visit Saturn and the first to enter its orbit, where it remained from 2004 to 2017. Both craft took their names from astronomers Giovanni Cassini and Christiaan Huygens. Cassini-Huygens was a mission of firsts. First to orbit Saturn. First landing in the outer solar system. First to sample an alien ocean.
