Magic Time: The ingenious telescopic hand system from GEARMAGUS, a small watch manufacturer founded several decades ago and known for its automatic watch designs for certain watch brands.
In the early 19th century, British watchmakers Vardon and Stedman made the world's first oval pocket watch, equipped with a special telescopic hand that could be moved along the oval track. More than two hundred years later, independent watchmaker Michel Parmigiani Fleurier reproduced this beautiful structure again. A few years later, a new watch brand called " Gearmagus " created its own style of telescopic hand.
The " Magic Time " watch does not follow the previous works, but instead uses two sets of well-designed special-shaped gears with patented technology to realize gear transmission, and the minute hand expands and contracts 4 times per hour.
The brushing, polishing and chamfering processes of the case complement each other, and the domed sapphire mirror and hollow lugs add details and layers to the watch face. Hour display at noon, retractable minute hand, central second hand. Nearly 100 parts are required to design this watchmaking masterpiece.
