 LORESUM is a watchmaking company that aims for a new standard in aesthetics and mechanics. She is design-oriented, and strives to create completely original works of art for watch enthusiasts.
 In 1931, Henri Beck (English technical designer) created the revolutionary 8-direction topological map of the London Underground lines. At a glance, it's nothing more than a simple 2D drawing consisting of straight lines, sharp angles, and tiny spheres with virtually no geographic elements. Most stations are evenly spaced, each railway line and its intersection very easy to read. Based on the concept of an electrical diagram, the result is both aesthetic and useful
 Inspired by Beck's story, Chan decided to embark on a journey to create his own equally radical masterpiece. A mechanism that would change the very essence of telling time.
 LS01 is the product of this journey. Deeply inspired by Beck's legacy, Chan has reinterpreted his card in the form of a tasteful watch. Eight directional lines and circles extend from the center of the LS01. Weaving, superimposing and intersecting topologically, these are the tracks on a railway map. These, in turn, extend over several vertical levels as do underground tunnels. A “station” in the form of two rotating discs sits at the top. Chan ends this rendition of mechanical beauty with the exposure of the inner gears.
 It's a watch like no other. The design combines the 2D view of a map with the 3D elements of a cross section. Combined with a brand new time reading system, it has no equivalent. As soon as you wind the watch, this feeling comes to life. The gears grind, the discs spin, and the rail system runs full steam ahead.
