The models in the Inception series from the young brand Lytt Labs impress with their unique case shape and special time display. The steel cases are made with great care and are comfortable on the wrist. The time is displayed using a system of three rotating discs. The elaborately skeletonised hour disc is the largest; the time is where the 10 o'clock position would normally be on an analogue clock. The minute disc with 5-minute divisions, the minute can be read at the 2 o'clock position. The second is displayed on the small index of the rotating seconds disc. The whole thing takes some getting used to at first, but quickly becomes very intuitive.
All elements such as the dial, discs and indexes are designed with great attention to detail and made to a very high quality. The large, easy-to-grip crown follows the basic shape of the case, which is square on one side, but also has beautiful curves on the other. The sapphire crystal is anti-reflective coated on both sides. The straps, available in different versions, are cleverly integrated into the case and can be easily changed using the tool supplied with the additional straps. As standard, the watches are equipped with a comfortable, soft and skin-friendly silicone strap. Another clever detail is the clasp with its double axis. There is a laser engraved QR code on the back of the case, which is used for warranty registration and also confirms the authenticity of the watch.
