 NASA's Artemis mission marked the US agency's return to lunar exploration five decades after the Apollo program, ushering in a new era of spaceflight.
 We are proud to present the Full Moon M1, a new watch from OVD on the theme of NASA, a dream come true for this brand created in 2016 and passionate about space exploration.
 Its centerpiece: an innovative 3D moon, which rotates in its center while marking the movement of the seconds, and offers a captivating spectacle.
 Its Swiss Superluminova coating and special printing technology create a truly revolutionary design.
 A lot of time and effort went into designing this moon. The cratered effect on its surface uses embossing techniques. Many challenges such as weight, timing, material selection, color calibration and impact resistance had to be overcome. The highlight is its complex assembly, a true feat of the technicians.
 The back of the watch recalls the reliefs of the moon with its hammered appearance.
 Its curved edges represented a significant challenge in the stamping process. After numerous tests and adjustments, the obstacle was overcome: the concave case back fits the wrist very comfortably.
 The M1's case design, inspired by space stations, is made of 316L stainless steel with a finely sandblasted matte finish. Its shape is specially designed to house an extremely domed sapphire crystal, which gives it a futuristic appearance.
 The crown of the Full Moon finds its style in that of the Orion spacecraft (designed to carry a crew of four astronauts beyond low Earth orbit for a three-week mission) with an etched surface of the windows and hatches of mooring the vehicle.
 As for the unique look of the buckle, it is reminiscent of the Gateway lunar space station.
 Two premium leather versions are available for the M1 - one in vegetable tanned leather and the other in horsehide. Both straps are supple and feature a distinctive leather texture. The watch comes with quick release spring bars for easy strap changes.
